Bracebridge Supercharger now open [Ontario]

Tesla has turned on a new Supercharger in Bracebridge, Ontario, five years after it was added to Tesla’s Supercharger map as a potential location.

The Bracebridge Supercharger is located at the Bracebridge SmartCentre, just off Hwy 11 at 40 Depot Drive. Construction began back in August, and on Wednesday the Supercharger was turned on, with one of our readers Jim being among the first to plug in and charge his Model S.

The station doesn’t appear on the in-car navigation yet so we don’t know the fees yet, but will update this article once it appears.

The Bracebridge Supercharger is located in front of the Dollar Tree and Bulk Barn between Home Depot and Walmart. The site features 8 V3 stalls capable of charging at speeds up to 250kW. It will serve as a convenient stop for those travelling to and from the Muskoka Lakes region north of Toronto.

Along with Bracebridge, Tesla also recently turned on Superchargers in Cobourg, Port Severn, and Simcoe.

Other Superchargers under construction or waiting to be turned on in Ontario include Scarborough, Brantford, Gananoque, and Toronto.
