Ram 1500 REV reservations are closed after five days

Dodge has officially closed Ram 1500 REV reservations after five days.

The company opened the reservation window after Super Bowl Sunday and has since closed off reservations for the time being.

Dodge believes that the Ram 1500 REV will genuinely revolutionize the EV truck space. Per their own site, the 1500 REV will “Push past the competition in areas customers care about the most: range, payload, towing and charge time”.

Perspective buyers could reserve their spot by signing up on RamREV.com with a $100 refundable deposit. Once signed up, perspective owners also got access to the REV Insider + membership program.

However, as of this morning, people looking to sign up got this message: (via Ram1500Revoltionforum)

Due to high demand, the Ram REV Insider + membership is now closed. You can still be the first to know when the doors open up again. So, it looks like Dodge has created a waitlist for the waitlist.

Dodge did not confirm how many reservations they received. However, one can think it would be around the 200,000 that the Ford F-150 Lightning got upon its launch.
