Tesla has opened a new Supercharger in Sicamous, British Columbia, less than two months after the site started construction, making it one of the fastest Supercharger deployments in Canada.
Tesla first added Sicamous to its Supercharger map in November 2025 as an “in development” location. Then in early July 2026 Tesla officially updated the site to “under construction.”
The new station, located at the Dairy Queen at 907 Trans-Canada Highway features eight V4 Supercharger posts, each capable of delivering speeds of up to 325 kW. The site is open 24/7 and is also available to non-Tesla EVs equipped with a NACS adapter.
Tesla owners pay $0.28/kWh during off-peak hours, increasing to $0.50/kWh between 9:00am and 11:00pm. Non-Tesla EV drivers pay a higher rate of $0.40/kWh during the off-peak periods and $0.69/kWh between 9:00am and 11:00pm.
The location is an important one for Tesla owners travelling through the B.C. Interior. Sicamous sits directly along Highway 1 between Salmon Arm and Revelstoke, while also providing access toward the Okanagan via Highway 97A.
Interestingly, the blue Model 3 that was photographed by Tesla for the opening of the Nanaimo Supercharger on Wednesday appears to be the same vehicle in the Sicamous Supercharger photo shared by the Tesla Charging account on X.
That likely means Keremeos, which started construction around the same time as Sicamous, and Penticton, could be next on the list to be energized, potentially later this week.
