Tesla has updated its Supercharger map for June, adding several new planned locations across Canada while also updating several to say they are currently under construction.
The biggest additions this month are in British Columbia and Quebec, with new Supercharger locations now appearing in Nanaimo, Surrey, West Kelowna, and Saguenay. Both the Surrey and West Kelowna stations have previously appeared as ‘in development’ sites on Tesla’s map, but were both removed in 2025 and 2024 respectively (although West Kelowna was previously labelled as Westbank).
Not every change was an addition, however. Tesla has removed planned Supercharger locations in British Columbia in North Vancouver and Richmond from its map. As we’ve seen in the past, removals do not necessarily mean a project has been cancelled, as Tesla adjusts locations, timelines, or development plans before reintroducing sites at a later date as negotiations with land owners progress.

Construction begins across Canada
Tesla’s map also shows progress on several upcoming locations that are now listed as under construction for the first time. The new stations listed as under construction are:
- Prince Rupert, BC
- Penticton, BC
- Nipawin, SK
- Kingston, ON
Here are the approximate locations of each of the new sites.
Of those sites, Prince Rupert could be particularly significant, helping improve access to fast charging in northern British Columbia and supporting travel along Highway 16. There are currently two other Superchargers under construction or waiting to be turned on along this route in Terrace and Vanderhoof.
Penticton will add another important charging option in the Okanagan, while Kingston marks the second Supercharger currently under construction in that city.
Meanwhile, Nipawin gives Saskatchewan a long-needed addition to its Supercharger network in a more remote part of the province.
