Tesla Model 3 and Y now available in Malaysia on a Flux subscription

For potential Tesla owners in Malaysia, a vehicle subscription service is making it a little easier to get into a Tesla.

Flux is now offering the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y on subscription for users in Malaysia.

This is a great move, as Tesla has yet to officially launch in the Kingdom.

Flux is a subscription-based model which covers comprehensive insurance, road tax and maintenance, including wear and tear.

All users need to pay is a one-time upfront fee and a fixed monthly fee until the end of the contract.

As a bonus, if you subscribe for 36 months, Flux will install a wall box charger for free with basic installation.

For those who are interested, the pricing is not too bad.

Especially as the company is currently offering 5 per cent off if a client takes a 36-month contract.

For both vehicles, you get the following with your subscription:

  • Insurance and Road Tax
  • Maintenance and wear and tear
  • Driver and passengers’ PA coverage
  • Replacement car (for up to 5 days)
  • 24/7 roadside assistance with unlimited towing
  • Concierge service (carry out all pick-ups and drop-offs, including services)
  • Emergency dispatch and theft recovery services

For the Model 3, you would be looking at RM 84,808 or around $25,000 CAD for the year.

You can see the total price breakdown below.

While for the Model Y, you would be looking at RM 99,326 or around $29,300 CAD for the year.
