Tesla raises price of Model 3 SR+ in Germany

Just a few hours away from Giga Berlin hosting a huge party,  Tesla has raised the price of the Standard Range Plus (SR+) Model 3 in Germany.

According to the online configurator, the entry-level variant of the electric sedan is now €2,000 more expensive, priced at €41,990 ($60,800 CAD). (h/t: @tesla_adri)

Despite the price increase, the Model 3 SR+ is actually still cheaper than it was earlier this year. It was priced at €42,990, until Tesla lowered it to €39,990 in February 2021.

This isn’t the only price increase Tesla implemented tonight. The automaker also increased the price of the Long Range Model Y in Canada.
