Tesla has expanded its Supercharger network in British Columbia’s interior, opening a second station in Penticton.

Tesla first added Penticton to its Supercharger map in September 2025 as an “in development” location, alongside several other planned stations in British Columbia.

Construction finally started in June, placing it along Skaha Lake Road near Green Avenue West. At the time, Penticton was one of four Canadian locations newly listed as under construction.

The new station is located at Skaha Centre at 3094 Skaha Lake Road, a few blocks east of Highway 97 in the south end of the city. It features eight V4 Supercharger posts capable of delivering charging speeds of up to 325 kW.

Pricing currently sits at $0.28/kWh for Tesla owners and $0.38/kWh for non-Tesla EVs. The site is also listed as a NACS Partner Site, allowing compatible non-Tesla EVs to charge with a NACS adapter.

The new station joins Penticton’s existing eight-stall V3 Supercharger at Riverside Village on Riverside Drive. That location opened in December 2021 and offers charging speeds of up to 250 kW. With Skaha Centre now online, Penticton has 16 Supercharger stalls spread across two locations roughly 4 km apart.

Tesla has been steadily adding capacity throughout the B.C. Interior. In August the company opened a new Superchager in Sicamous. With Penticton now open, Tesla is likely moving further south to Keremeos, where another station is waiting to be energized.
