Nearly two months after starting construction, the new Tesla Supercharger in Invermere, British Columbia is now open.
The new 8-stall Supercharger is located in the Columbia Valley at the CrossRoads Clover Market Esso at 548 BC-93. Construction was completed in late August and last night crews finally activated the Supercharger.
TMC forum member Quote Me shared a picture of his Model Y plugged in, saying “Supercharger in Invermere is online!!!!”
Drive Tesla first learned of the location earlier this year after plans for Tesla to install the Superchargers on a district-owned site fell through.
This is the 8th Supercharger to open this year in the province, with the most recent openings in Vernon and Cache Creek.
The Supercharger team isn’t stopping there as there should be another five turning on in the next few months.
