With Tesla’s Q2 2026 earnings call scheduled for next week, the company has once again opened its shareholder Q&A platform, giving investors the opportunity to submit and vote on the questions they want answered during the live event.
As in previous quarters, Tesla is using the Say Technologies platform, allowing retail investors who link their brokerage accounts to submit up to three questions. Fellow shareholders can then vote on those submissions, with the most popular questions rising to the top.
The early results show Robotaxi and Optimus remain the biggest topics on investors’ minds, but there is a noticeable shift in tone. Rather than asking about Tesla’s long-term vision, many shareholders are now looking for explanations as to why previously announced milestones have yet to be achieved.
Several of the top questions focus on Robotaxi, including what is limiting a faster expansion of the service and how that aligns with Cybercab production. Another highly voted question asks why Tesla has fallen short of several of its own Robotaxi rollout targets and what is preventing broader deployment.
Optimus is the other major area of interest, with investors seeking updates on the Gen 3 production ramp, factory deployments, and plans for external sales in 2027. Shareholders also want to know what technical or manufacturing challenges remain before the humanoid robot can reach mass production.
Other popular questions ask when customers will gain access to unsupervised FSD, including point-to-point Summon, while others seek clarification on liability and regulations once the technology is available.
Tesla’s Q2 2026 earnings call will take place on July 22 following the release of the company’s financial results.
