Tesla is opening up its first permenant showroom in Israel

Tesla is continuing its expansion into Israel and secured a lease on a property in North Netanya for the first permanent installation. The company will use the space as a sales and service center according to a report by local publication Globes.

The property was originally for sale, but Tesla signed a long term lease on the over 3,300 square meters of space per sources of Globes. This will be the first permanent showroom in the country for Tesla.

The location will also feature a bodywork and paint workshop that will become the main service center for the country. Although nothing is confirmed, it appears that  Tesla will open the store in August, with the service center also opening in 2023.

This will be a significant improvement for Tesla clients in the country. Currently, Tesla has subcontracted Shagrir to complete repair and roadside assistance services. Although it has been okay, the growing number of vehicles on the road has stretched the service thin.

Tesla did not confirm the opening date or any other rumours from the Globes story.
