Polestar signs deal with AutoNexus to support Australian expansion

AutoNexus and Polestar has announced a deal that will see the logistics company help support Polestar’s growth in Australia.

The deal will see AutoNexus become the end-to-end partner for Polestar in the country, providing core vehicle logistic services.

These logistic services include vehicle transport, processing, storage and full pre-delivery preparations.

Polestar will not be the first EV company that AutoNexus works with.

AutoNexus started working with Tesla a few years ago, and since then have invested in their own facilities with the help of EVSE, an Australian EV charging business.

With the EVSE partnership, AutoNexus has installed more than 30 EV chargers at their national facilities to support their logistic operations.

AutoNexus Managing Director Darren Bowler had this to say about the companies new investments:

Our partnership with EVSE and the installation of chargers across all our sites marks a significant upgrade in the electric vehicle infrastructure of AutoNexus facilities and ensures we are ready to support the growing electric vehicle needs of our current and future OEM partners.

While head of Polestar Australia, Samantha Johnson, said this on the partnership with AutoNexus:

AutoNexus has demonstrated its commitment to the electric vehicle industry with significant investment in scalable charging infrastructure. It was the natural partner of choice given its capacity, and its capability, to support the continued growth of Polestar in the months and years to come.
