Kia has officially announced Canadian pricing for the 2027 EV3, and the new electric crossover is arriving with an price tag that makes it the cheapest new EV in Canada.
According to the automaker, the 2027 Kia EV3 will start at $36,995 for the entry-level Light FWD, or $39,744 all-in before taxes and incentives. According to Kia, that makes the EV3 the lowest-priced new battery electric vehicle currently available in Canada, excluding incentives.
As for those incentives, the pricing structure means all trims qualify for the $5,000 EVAP rebate in Canada. However, if eligible buyers take delivery in 2027, that amount will drop to $4,000.
The Canadian pricing was announced one day after pricing for the U.S. market was revealed, where the EV3 starts at US$29,890.

The EV3 will have an extensive Canadian lineup, including front and all-wheel drive configurations. The all-in prices include $2,185 for delivery and up to $564 in other fees, levies and duties.

Two Batteries and More Than 500 KM of Estimated Range
The base EV3 gets a 58.3 kWh battery powering the front wheels, with Kia estimating up to 356 km of range. However, it is important to note this is the only trim that does not come with a heat pump as standard equipment, meaning the range will drop considerably in the cold winter months.
Opting for the larger 81.4 kWh battery increases estimated range to as much as 517 km in FWD form, while AWD versions are expected to offer up to 451 km.
The EV3 is built on Kia’s 400-volt E-GMP architecture and comes with a native NACS charging port. Kia says a 10-to-80% charge takes approximately 31 minutes under ideal conditions.
At the top of the lineup is the EV3 GT, available by factory order for $55,995. Its dual-motor AWD powertrain produces 288 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque.

Canadians won’t have to wait long, with Kia saying the first EV3s are expected to arrive at dealerships across the country later this month. Interested buyers can now place their order on Kia’s website.
