First Tesla Model Y with heated steering wheel delivered in Canada

One of the most user-requested features among Tesla owners, especially in Canada, is the addition of a heated steering wheel for the Model 3 and Model Y.

While we’re still waiting for the feature to appear in the electric sedan, Tesla has already begun deliveries of the electric SUV with the heated steering wheel in the US.

Now we can add Canada to the list. Yesterday a Long Range Model Y was delivered with the feature activated. The lucky new owner is Joe Trinidad, who picked up his car at the Vaughan delivery center in Ontario and posted the image above to the Tesla Model Y Canadian Facebook group.

According to Joe his Model Y also had the auto-dimming mirrors, but does not have the new center console first seen in the Model 3 refresh.

Joe also said his car was delivered with Full Self-Driving (FSD) on a “trial basis.” We are awaiting more information from Joe as Tesla only offered a three-month trial of FSD during the last 3 days of 2020 as a promotional effort to boost sales.

Let us know in the comments below if you also have the heated steering wheel in Canada.
