Santa Mode gets upgraded in 2021 Holiday Software Update [Update]

In the 2020 edition of Tesla’s Holiday Software Update, Santa Mode got a big overhaul with the addition of a convertible Model 3 sleigh and new animations for the reindeer.

As the song goes, Santa’s got a brand new sleigh in the 2021 holiday update too, along with a new friend from the North Pole.

According to Tesla hacker @greentheonly, Santa’s sleigh has been updated to match your model of car, instead of a generic Model 3 for everyone.

Not only that, but pedestrians are now also displayed as elves.

We haven’t seen any official footage of the new Santa Mode yet, but green was able to uncover the new elf in the source code of the update.
