Tesla finished June as Taiwan’s top imported vehicle brand, posting its strongest quarterly delivery performance in the market’s history and adding another milestone to the company’s growing presence in Asia.
According to registration data released this week, Tesla recorded 4,369 new vehicle registrations in Taiwan during June 2026, enough to place the automaker at the top of the imported vehicle rankings for the month. The result highlights growing demand for electric vehicles in the region and adds Taiwan to an expanding list of markets where Tesla sales have accelerated throughout the first half of the year.
The June performance also helped Tesla achieve its highest quarterly delivery pace ever in Taiwan, further strengthening the company’s position in one of Asia’s most competitive automotive markets.
Celebrating the milestone on social media, Tesla Taiwan wrote, “We did it again!”

Beyond vehicle sales, Tesla also revealed that its owner community in Taiwan has now surpassed 80,000 drivers, a significant milestone considering the relatively small size of the country’s overall automotive market.
Supporting that growing fleet is an expanding charging network. Tesla noted that more than 70% of its Supercharger locations in Taiwan have now transitioned to off-peak pricing, reducing charging costs for many owners who are able to charge during lower-demand periods.
Taiwan now joins Europe and other markets where Tesla has reported significant year-over-year sales gains in recent months. The results suggest that demand for the company’s vehicles remains strong despite growing competition from both established automakers and emerging Chinese EV brands.
