Tesla Supercharger in Medicine Hat, Alberta now open

The parade of V3 Superchargers being turned on in Canada continues. Earlier today we told you about the new Superchargers in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan were partially open, with not all stalls turned on, and not at full power either.

Now another Supercharger appears to have been turned on in Medicine Hat, Alberta. According to ‘JC’, who shared these photo with Tesla in Canada, all 8 stalls were powered up, but only delivering speeds of between 24kW to 50kW.

The new Supercharger station is located at 1941 Strachan Rd SE in Medicine Hat, and features 8 stalls with Tesla’s latest V3 technology. Tesla owners will be able to charge at speeds of up to 1,600km/hr, meaning a Long Range Model 3 can recover up to 120km of charge in just 5 minutes.
