Tesla has started rolling out FSD v14.2 Lite to Hardware 3 (HW3) Model S and Model X vehicles, bringing the automaker’s latest generation of self-driving software to the older flagship vehicles for the first time.
The update is currently reaching a limited number of early-access vehicles, with installations reported on software version 2026.27.10.
A subsequent build, 2026.27.11, also includes FSD v14.2 Lite, although neither release has reached the wider customer fleet.

Bringing FSD v14 to Older Hardware
The arrival of FSD v14 Lite is a welcome development for HW3 Model S and Model X owners, who were left out in the cold when Tesla began rolling out the software to other HW3 vehicles back in July.
As we reported earlier this month, Tesla had indicated that support for the older flagship vehicles was coming. The latest installations are the first indication that the software is now making its way onto those vehicles.
For now, the update remains in early access, and Tesla has not announced when a broader rollout to HW3 Model S and Model X owners will begin.
