Rivian releasing Q3 2022 financials on November 9th

Rivian will publish its 2022 third-quarter financial report on November 9th, at 5:00 pm, after the close of the market. The interested public can follow the proceedings through an audio webcast the company will host at the same time.

Rivian will bill buyers for towing their vehicles to its own centers for warranty repairs.

While the full details are still unknown, Rivian has already announced they produced 7,363 EVs in the third quarter, while delivering 6,854 of those to new customers.

The figures show impressive growth and sets a new record for Rivian after building and delivering 4,401 and 4,467 new cars and trucks respectively, in the second quarter.

Rivian ended the first quarter with 2,553 cars manufactured and 1,227 delivered.

Rivian investors will be looking forward to the investors’ call, as the figures show the company is finally ramping up production after a slow start. The automaker will need another record in Q4 to meet its 25,000 cars forecast for the year.

Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk warned Rivian and Lucid risked going bankrupt if they didn’t make dramatic changes. Both companies did so, and Rivian seems to be reaping the benefits.
