Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo spotted in the wild

Late last year the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo was spotted at the Nürburgring in Germany, making some hot laps around the famed track.

Now it has been spotted in the wild again, this time alongside what is believed to be the Sport Turismo, a sleeker version of the Cross Turismo. They were spotted at a charging station without much camouflaging, except for a few key features which are still a surprise.

They appear to be hiding the design of the D-pillar, the area between the rear window and the trunk, which is often the source of reduced visibility, or the ‘blind spot’ in most vehicles.

The Cross Turismo is slated for a late 2020 delivery. No details have been provided on what will be powering the Cross Turismo, but we expect it to be similar to the Porsche Taycan and it’s 3 variants – the Taycan, Taycan Turbo, Taycan Turbo S, and Taycan 4S. Estate vehicles like this, as they’re known in Europe, aren’t very popular in Canada and the US, so it is unknown at this point if the Cross Turismo will make its way to Canadian shores.
