Natural Resources Canada announces over $4.6 million in ZEV awareness investments

In yet another announcement, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources announced a $4,646,577 investment in zero-emission vehicle awareness projects across Canada.

The investment will go to 22 organizations in Canada.

$300,000 investments are going to:

  • Eco-West Canada
  • Alberta Motor Transport Association
  • The City of Toronto
  • H2GO Canada Inc
  • Foundation Quebecoise d’education en sercurite routiere

$200,000-$299,999  investments are going to:

  • Environmental Careers Organization of Canada
  • Hydro-Quebec
  • Mohawk Council of Akwesasne
  • The City of Edmonton
  • New Brunswick Lung Association
  • Green Learning Canada Foundation
  • Red River College
  • Capital Regional District (Victoria)

$100,000-$199,000 investments are going to:

  • Community Energy Association
  • McMaster University
  • Upcycle Green Technology-Auto Shop
  • Three Nations Energy GP Inc
  • Volta Research
  • EcoSchools Canada
  • Wyse Meter Solutions

Under $100,000 investments are going to:

  • Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley
  • Eastern Charlotte Waterways Inc

All of these investments are being made through the Zero-Emission Vehicle Awareness Initiative. The initiative aims to increase awareness, knowledge and public confidence in ZEVs, refueling infrastructure and public charging.
