Lucid opens Toronto Studio ahead of Canadian deliveries this spring, announces partnership with Electrify Canada

Lucid Group has expanded its retail presence in North America, announcing today the official opening of their second location in Canada in Toronto, Ontario.

The automaker also announced when the first Lucid Air deliveries are expected to take place north of the border, and a new partnership with Electrify Canada.

Lucid Studio Toronto

The new Lucid Studio is located in Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Center, and is the automaker’s 23rd location in North America.

The official grand opening will be held this Saturday, March 23 at 10:00am local time.

Lucid Air Deliveries in Canada

Lucid was originally planning to begin Air deliveries in Canada last October. However a slower than expected production ramp and supply chain shortages had led to a significant delay.

The automaker now says deliveries of the Lucid Air will begin this spring. They did not elaborate on whether those will be deliveries of the limited Dream Edition Air sedans, or also include the Grant Touring variant.

Lucid partnership with Electrify Canada

Lucid also announced a new partnership with Electrify Canada. Customers who reserve a Lucid Air by June 30, 2022 will receive two years of complimentary charging on the Electrify Canada network.

Electrify Canada currently has a network of 30 150kW and 350kW DC fast chargers.

With the Lucid Air’s 900+V architecture, owners can receive 350kms of range in just 15 minutes.
