First Tesla store in Israel to open soon

Tesla has had a big year in Israel, delivering the first vehicles to happy customers and opening the first Supercharger in the country earlier this year.

According to a report from The Globes, the automaker has hired commercial real estate management company CBRE International to find a suitable showroom location. Sources tell the publication that the search has been narrowed down to a prime location in Herzilya, affluent city in the central coast of Israel.

A contract for the property is reportedly close to being signed and the Tesla store could open “in the coming months.”

When it opens, the store will display a number of Tesla vehicles and Tesla Energy products, much like other stores around the world. Customers interested in getting behind the wheel will also be able to book test drives.

Tesla is currently operating a pop-up store near Tel-Aviv in the Ramat Aviv Mall. The temporary location is set to run for three months after opening in April.

The Israeli Design Studio in early February, allowing customers to place orders for the Model 3. The first 120 vehicles arrived in the country in March, with deliveries beginning in April.
