First Tesla Model Y delivered in Ontario today

A little over one week after the first Tesla Model Y delivery in Vancouver, the first delivery in Ontario happened today at Tesla Lawrence location.

The proud new owner, Sam Zhang posed for pictures taken by the Tesla Owners Club of Ontario that were posted to Instagram this afternoon.

Update: The staff at Tesla pulled out everything but the red carpet. A video was also posted showing the first time Zhang got a look at his new car.

Zhang was clearly very happy to pick up his Model Y, hugging his new white Long Range version with 20″ Induction wheels in the Tesla showroom.

After taking delivery, he will be taking it home to park next to his Model 3.

We told you just yesterday about the first shipments of the electric SUV arriving in Ontario at Tesla Oakville. Several Model Y’s were spotted outside by Tesla fans eager to glimpse of the new Tesla.

Also yesterday, we showed you the first Model Y’s arriving in Calgary, which included the first Model Y’s we’ve seen in Canada that have the 19″ Gemini wheels.

If you’re a Model Y reservation holder in Montreal, deliveries there should be starting soon as we received information earlier today on the first confirmed delivery appointment, scheduled for June 30.
