Tesla branded USB drive now for sale on the Tesla Shop

If you aren’t buying the new refresh Tesla Model 3 or expecting delivery of a new Model Y but want a little piece of it, you can now purchase the Tesla branded USB drive.

The new USB drive was first revealed to come with the 2021 Model 3 as part of the upgrade that moved a USB port to the glovebox. Drive Tesla was first to report last night that the new glovebox USB port had already made its way into the Model Y, also featuring the same 64GB USB drive.

Now available on the Tesla Shop and priced at $45 CAD ($35 USD), the USB drive is twice the size of the one that comes standard in the new cars, 128GB. According to the product description, it comes pre-formatted so all you have to do is plug it in and you are ready to capture Sentry Mode and Dashcam footage.

As we have come to expect from Tesla, it also comes in a stylish black box that you won’t want to throw away.

If you want to save $6.18 CAD, you can also buy it from Amazon, but with the original Samsung branding, and not the Tesla logo (it is a Samsung BAR Plus 128GB).

Here is the full product description from Tesla’s website.
