Mattel to release 1:10 scale RC Cybertruck with Cyberquad for just $100 this Friday [May 21, 2021]

If you missed out on the collector’s edition 1:10 scale RC Cybertruck that were just delivered last month, it looks like you’ll have another opportunity to get one at a much lower price.

In an email sent this morning, Mattel announced they are going to be releasing a Cybertruck and Cyberquad combo package this Friday. The best part is the price – it will be just $100!

There will be some differences from the sold out $400 RC Cybertruck. When the first RC Cybertrucks were delivered last month, many wondered how much of the $400 went into the carrying case. As it turns out, about $300, as this version looks like it won’t have one included.

This version of the RC Cybertruck will also have a different controller that “mimics the actual steering wheel.”

Then of course there is the 1:10 scale Cyberquad, which according to Mattel’s website is not powered. We got our first peek at the Cyberquad when Tesla’s chief designer Franz von Holzhausen snuck it into a picture of his RC Cybertruck that he posted to Twitter.

The order page will go live on May 21, 2021 at 9:00am PST. Get your ordering fingers ready, because this will likely sell quickly!
