The first beta testers for SpaceX Starlink satellite internet service in Canada received their invitations earlier this month. They arrived in inboxes after SpaceX was approved for its satellite spectrum license from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).
With a high upfront cost of almost $800 to become a beta tester, not including the $129 ongoing monthly fee, it looks like a lot of Canadians had the opportunity to take Elon Musk up on the offer.
According to a map created by #FSDBetaCanada campaign manager Franklin (@MFrunker) and Aaron Brighton (@aaronbrighton), beta testing invitations have been sent across almost the entire nation. THe one exception is Quebec, where no invitations have been sent so far.

Along with no beta testers in Quebec, the number of testers in British Columbia is clustered close to the B.C./Alberta border, with no locations noted west of Rossland.
So how do they know which locations have received an invitation? Franklin tells Drive Tesla that when registration to become a beta tester opened, they realized the sign up form required no verification (e.g., Captcha). So they did what your average Canadian would do and, using a script, signed up for every city across Canada.
