Burnaby Tesla Supercharger now open [British Columbia]

Tesla owners in the lower mainland of British Columbia received a nice surprise from Tesla today. A new Supercharger is now open at the Amazing Brentwood shopping mall in Burnaby.

Unlike almost all Superchargers, this new station went completely undetected until it was discovered last night by Rico Perrott, who posted on the Official Tesla Owners Club of BC Facebook group that they were currently “being installed” on the B2 level of the main parking garage at 4567 Lougheed Hwy.

As it turns out, they were much more than just installed, as another member Adrian Teng visited the site later to find them already turned on.

Although you can’t see them all in the picture, there are 8 V3 Supercharger stalls along this wall. Adrian shared a video of the new station, showing there are an additional 4 stalls to the left of where this photo was taken.

The new station hasn’t appeared in the in-car navigation yet, so we don’t know how much it will cost to plug in after Tesla raised Supercharger prices earlier this month.

This is the third new Supercharger to open in BC in 2022. The South Surrey and Chilliwack Superchargers opened within two weeks of each other in late January and early February.
