WattsApp Increases Rewards with Triple Play Program and Tesla Model Y RWD Giveaway

WattsApp has launched its new Triple Play Program, allowing Canadian EV owners to choose from rewards including bonus charging points, Supercharging rebates, Wall Connector giveaways, and even a Tesla Model Y grand prize.

The new program is a major shift from WattsApp’s traditional rewards structure. Instead of all users participating in the same incentives, the company is allowing members to choose the benefits that best align with how they use their vehicles.

The new program is live on Wattsapp.ca. If you aren’t already a member, you can sign up here. The program will run from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

Six Rewards to Choose From

The most valuable reward on offer is the annual Tesla Model Y giveaway. WattsApp plans to award one Model Y RWD, currently priced at $49,990, with the draw scheduled for June 7, 2027.

For those looking for charging equipment rather than a vehicle, the company is also introducing a monthly Tesla Gen 3 Wall Connector giveaway. One charger will be awarded each month throughout the program.

The remaining rewards focus on increasing the value users receive from their charging activity. Under the standard WattsApp program, users earn 3 charging points per kWh, which is equivalent to 3 cents per kWh in value.

Users who select the 3 Points per kWh Bonus reward can double that earning rate to 6 points per kWh, or 6 cents per kWh.

Those looking for a chance to earn even more can select the monthly 12 points per kWh giveaway. Each month, up to 100 winners will receive an extra 12 points per kWh for that month. When combined with the standard earning rate, winners could earn 15 points per kWh, or 15 cents per kWh.

The quarterly charging points giveaway offers another opportunity to boost rewards. Four times during the year, up to 25 winners per draw will have the balance in their Charging Points wallet doubled.

Finally, frequent road-trippers may find the winter Supercharging rebate an attractive option. Participants can receive up to $25 per month toward eligible Canadian Tesla Supercharging sessions during January, February, and March 2027.

Under the program, users can select up to three rewards. However it is important to note that once those selections are made, they are locked in for the entire program period and cannot be changed.

Building on Existing Rewards

Earlier this month, WattsApp announced it had surpassed 5 million charging points earned by users and introduced a temporary referral promotion that increased referral rewards from 100 points to 500 points per successful referral. The enhanced referral bonus remains available through the end of June.

While the Model Y giveaway will likely attract the most attention, the structure of Triple Play suggests WattsApp is placing equal emphasis on rewarding active charging behaviour. Users who charge frequently at home may find more value in the guaranteed point-earning boosts than in the prize-based rewards.

What is WattsApp?

WattsApp is a Canadian EV rewards platform that allows electric vehicle owners to earn Charging Points by connecting compatible home chargers and participating in eligible charging programs. Points are accumulated through qualifying charging activity and, following annual third-party verification under Canada’s Clean Fuel Regulations, can be redeemed for rewards.

The platform is designed to provide EV owners with additional value from charging sessions they are already completing at home.
