WattsApp, the program that pays you to charge your EV at home, has reached another major milestone. Just over two months after celebrating 2 million charging points, the Canadian company has surpassed 5 million charging points earned by users on its EV charging rewards platform.
To mark the milestone, Wattsapp is rolling out a series of new incentives in June, including Supercharging rebates, increased referral rewards, and a monthly Tesla Wall Connector giveaway.
If you aren’t already a member of the Wattsapp program, you can sign up on their website using your secure Tesla credentials.
Free Supercharging All Summer Long
Perhaps the most attractive new feature for Tesla owners is a summer rebate program that will provide up to $25 in Supercharging credit each month from June through August.
It’s that simple – there is no catch. Simply sign up for the program and have a connected Wall Connector, and you can receive up to $75 in total rebates over the three-month period.
According to WattsApp, users can select qualifying charging sessions through a new Supercharging dashboard and request reimbursement at the end of each month. Credits will be issued through e-Transfer.
Referral Rewards Get a Major Boost
WattsApp is also significantly increasing its referral incentives. During the month of June, successful referrals will earn 500 points instead of the previous 100 points.
The company hopes the enhanced referral program will encourage more EV owners to join the platform as awareness continues to grow across Canada.
