Canadian Tesla owners looking to purchase the Wall Connector are facing another increase in the cost of one of the company’s most popular accessories.
The standard Wall Connector from Tesla is now listed at $760 in Canada, marking the third price increase in recent weeks. The home charger was available for $630 in early June, increased to $645, then climbed again to $675, before making another jump to its current price on Friday.
That means the Wall Connector has risen by $130, or more than 20%, in less than a month. The Wall Connector has been available in Canada for as low as $465 in the past.
The latest adjustment creates an unusual pricing situation within Tesla’s own charging lineup. The standard Wall Connector now sits just $40 below the Universal Wall Connector ($800), which includes an integrated adapter supporting both Tesla’s NACS connector and J1772-equipped vehicles.
The narrow price difference may lead some buyers to opt for the more versatile Universal version instead, particularly households with multiple EV brands or those considering future vehicle purchases outside the Tesla ecosystem.
Despite the price increase on Tesla’s shop, you may still be able to avoid the higher pricing by purchasing through third-party retailers. A check of stock at Best Buy Canada shows it is still listed at $675, if stock is available.
