Tesla’s ultra-limited Model X Signature Edition didn’t last long. Just four days after being unveiled, the exclusive SUV is now officially sold out, confirming all available units have been spoken for.
The rapid sellout is not entirely surprising given just how limited the run was. Tesla capped production at only 100 units of the Model X Signature Edition, all offered through an invite-only process. That meant only select customers even had the opportunity to place an order.
Adding to its exclusivity, the Signature Edition wasn’t just a cosmetic package. Tesla positioned it as a true sendoff for the Model X, bundling a long list of unique design elements and premium features. Each vehicle came finished in Garnet Red paint, paired with gold Tesla badging and exclusive Signature Edition accents throughout.

Inside, buyers received a heavily upgraded cabin featuring white upholstery with Alcantara trim, along with custom badging and individually numbered plaques. The Model X was only offered in a six-seat configuration, reinforcing its positioning as a high-end, collector-focused variant.
The Signature Edition also included Tesla’s “Luxe Package,” which bundles Full Self-Driving (Supervised), four years of Premium Service, free Supercharging, and Premium Connectivity. While these features add significant value, some—like FSD and free Supercharging—are not transferable if the vehicle is resold, a detail outlined in the purchase agreement.
Tesla also placed strict controls on ownership. Buyers agreed to a one-year no-resale clause, preventing them from flipping the vehicle immediately after delivery, keeping them in the hands of collectors rather than speculators.
Pricing for the Model X Signature Edition came in at US$159,420 before fees, putting it firmly in ultra-luxury territory. Despite the high price tag, demand clearly wasn’t an issue.
The quick sellout of the Model X now shifts attention to the Model S Signature Edition, which is also limited but available in slightly higher numbers at 250 units. If the Model X is any indication, it may not be available for much longer.
