Tesla Bobcat Project is a mysterious new facility planned for site adjacent to Giga Texas

According to new documents filed with the City of Austin, Tesla is planning to built a facility next to Giga Texas named ‘Bobcat Project.’

Documents for the project were filed with the city of April 30, and first revealed by Tesla enthusiast and drone pilot Joe Tegtmeyer. Details of what exactly ‘Bobcat Project’ will entail are slim. The project description simply says it will be “an industrial facility with associated improvements.”

The documents reveal the site is just over 150 acres in size, indicating that whatever it will be will not be small. Although it may seem like it is when it sits next to the Giga Texas site which is 280 acres.
