Tesla has revealed a new incentive for its vehicles in the US. Every new order of the Model 3 Premium and Performance will come with free Supercharging.
According to a post on X by the North American arm of the company, Model 3 buyers will be entitled to a full year of free fast charging on Tesla’s popular charger network. The announcement includes an American flag, confirming the offer is not available in Canada.

Tesla also chipped in one more reason for EV users to switch to its brand. The automaker stated that while non-Tesla EVs could use Superchargers, they are subject to higher pricing. They will either pay a 40 percent premium or a subscription.
Tesla started welcoming non-Tesla EVs to its Supercharging stations in 2023, using adapters. However, more EV makers have adopted Tesla’s NACS standard, enabling them to connect natively to the chargers.
The Model 3 Premium (RWD) starts at $42,490 on Tesla’s US website, while the AWD version costs $47,490. The Performance model starts at almost $55,000.
According to information on Tesla’s website, the promotion does not apply to business purchases such as taxis and rideshare services. The free Supercharging is activated upon delivery and customers are still responsible for congestion fees, where applicable.
Customers taking advantage of this latest incentive can plug in at any of the thousands of charging stations across the US. Globally, the company maintains over 80,000 stalls.
