Tesla adds $10,000 year end discount to Model S and Model X in Canada, $7,500 in the US

Tesla has extended their year end discount to their Model S and Model X vehicles, a discount that was previously only available for the Model 3 and Model Y. Not only have they extended it to their flagship vehicles, the discount has been doubled in Canada.

Since December 21 Tesla has been offering a $5,000 discount on inventory Model 3 and Model Y purchases in Canada. In the US that discount has been $7,500, and in both countries Tesla has also been offering 10,000km or 10,000mi of free Supercharging credits.

According to an update to Tesla’s website on Friday afternoon, inventory Model S and Model X purchases in Canada that are delivered between now and December 31 are eligible for a $10,000 discount in Canada, twice the amount available for the Model 3/Y. (h/t: @BruceTheModel3)

Buyers in the US can also get a discount, but it remains at $7,500 like that available for the Model 3/Y. The free Supercharger credits are also available with the discount in both countries. (h/t: @SawyerMerritt)

The window to receive the discount is quite short, but if this deal interests you there should be no problem finding a car that suits your taste. At the time of publication there are currently 69 Model S sedans and 155 Model X SUVs in Tesla’s inventory across Canada, according to third-party inventory tracker WaitingForTesla.com.
