Kia teases its upcoming EV9 with two new videos

Kia released two teaser videos on YouTube of its upcoming Kia EV9. The first video shows off the silhouette of the EV9, also showing off the signature front end and the car’s external body. The video gives a good idea of how long the SUV will be, and it appears to be similar in size to the Hyundai Sante Fe.

Aptly, the video is called the Silhouette.

The second video, Lights, shows off the vehicle’s new front and rear lights. We are unsure of the exact light show the Kia EV9 can produce, but hopefully, it will get to the level of the Tesla light show.

We know the Kia EV9 is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). We also know that the SUV will have a rear-wheel base option starting at $56,000 US and a top-of-the-range all-wheel drive option for around $73,000 US. Exact Canadian pricing has not yet leaked, nor has the delivery date.

However, with product information, the company plans to reveal the full exterior and interior design in mid-March, disclosed ahead of the Kia EV 9 World Premier in late March.
