Tesla finally adds Model Y all-weather interior liners to its online shop

With less than one week to go until the first official day of winter, Tesla has finally added all-weather liners for the Model Y.

Now available on the Tesla Shop are all-weather interior liners for the front and rear seats, front trunk (frunk), and rear trunk.

All-Weather Interior Liners

Priced at $260 CAD ($195 USD), the interior liners include mats for the driver and passenger and are made from a “thermoplastic elastomer material with a strong rigid core for extreme-duty protection and spatial coverage.” The liners include high lips to keep water, snow, and mud away from the carpet lined interior.

Frunk and Trunk Liners

Tesla has also added liners for both the front trunk (frunk) and rear trunk to provide complete all-weather protection. Priced at $95 CAD ($70 USD) and $170 CAD ($130 USD) respectively, they are made from the same thermoplastic elastomer material and feature a “strong rigid core for extreme-duty protection and spatial coverage.”

Tesla also sells a rear well (sub-trunk) liner separately for $65 CAD ($50 USD).

Model Y sub trunk liner

If you opt to buy all of the available all-weather liners for your Model Y from Tesla, it adds up to $590 CAD ($445 USD). A more affordable aftermarket option that provides the same amount of coverage are the all-weather liners from Tesmanian. For the same floor mat package, you will pay about half as much, just $258.99 USD. But you can save an additional 10% off by using the coupon code drivetesla10 at checkout, bringing the price down to just $233.10 USD.
