Cadillac had a busy year in 2022, and the evidence is about to come tumbling in. During a performance review presentation, the brand’s boss revealed that Cadillac would unveil three new EVs in 2023.
Cadillac is ramping up its Lyriq EV production and could make its 1,000th unit this week. There are also plans to commence the Celestiq flagship production in December, which will cost more than $300,000 for the base trim.
The three new EVs will be revealed throughout the year. However, the brand did not reveal date estimates but said it is working on putting them in production next year. One or two might even begin manufacturing at the end of the year.
For now, Cadillac fans who are also EV lovers can bask in the hope of something new coming. But we will be the first to report when news comes out.
We reported that GM is adding a new 2024 Cadillac Lyriq base Tech trim level. This came after the company stopped shipping the model to fix quality issues for a while.
GM is also pushing for changing the classification rules so the Lyriq can qualify for the new federal EV tax credit.
