CONFIRMED: Full Self-Driving visualizations now in Canada on 2020.8.1 software update

We reported late last night that Tesla hacker @greentheonly had discovered in the code of the latest software update that Canada would be getting the Full Self-Driving (FSD) driving visualizations.

We now have our first confirmation that the FSD visualizations are available in Canada, as an owner in Victoria, B.C. sent Drive Tesla Canada these images showing most of the new visualizations in action.

The FSD preview with these new visualizations has been available to US owners since December when Tesla pushed out a surprise holiday software update. For reasons unknown, Canada did not get access to the visualizations, but now we can enjoy all the garbage cans and traffic lights appearing on our display every day.

Let us know in the comments below if you have received the update with the new FSD visualizations.
