The Ford Mustang Mach-E is no longer available to order in any trim level for retail customers in the United States.
In March, Ford pulled the Mach-E Premium and Mach-E California Route 1 from their website, and now the Mach-E Select and Mach-E GT have met the same fate.
Ford notes at the bottom of their webpage that
Due to high demand, the current model year is no longer available for retail orders. Limited inventory may be available at selected dealers. Contact your dealer for more information.
The main page only offers a “Get Updates” option, while other models, you can still “Build & Price”.
So, you have two options for customers looking to order the 2022 model year in the United States. Search for a dealer with a 2022 model year, or wait for a 2023 model.
Although Ford notes that high demand is the reason for the pull, it might be more complicated than that. Like almost every automaker, Ford is dealing with supply chain constraints.
Due to the vehicle’s popularity, Ford elected to triple production of the Mach-E in Mexico by 2023.
For us in Canada, Ford has yet to pull any of the trim levels for the 2022 Mustang Mach-E. However, wait times for delivery are still quite long, and most likely, you will be waiting at least 20+ weeks.
