Ford F-150 shows off racing game with Tesla-like infotainment system

As the Ford F-150 Lightning nears its launch in a few weeks in late April. The company may still have some surprises for customers.

In a LinkedIn post, Ford Vice President of Global EV Programs Darren Palmer showed off a basic racing game on the infotainment system of the F-150 Lightning.

The game is not complicated, but it does show off the possibilities of the 15.5-inch infotainment system.

The game looks to be a Ford Mustang Mach-E racing through traffic and collecting coins. The more coins you collect, the greater your range.

Although Palmer did not provide many details, it does suggest the pickup will have some games at launch. The idea, much like those games on the Tesla’s, will give a way to kill some time while the truck is in the park.

It will be interesting if Ford expands their selections to include arcade classics like Tesla. Or if Ford decided to keep to simple games that are created in-house.
