Hyundai Ioniq 5 pricing and range finally arrives in the US

Hyundai has finally announced its pricing and range specs of the Ioniq 5 in the US. The Canadian pricing came out in early November.

The base model of the Ioniq 5 is the standard range with 220 miles of range. This vehicle will start at $40,925. However, this version uses the smaller 58 kWh battery pack and has a 168 horsepower rear-mounted electric motor.

The rest of the trims have the same battery pack, power and range—a 77 kWh battery pack powers both AWD and RWD versions.

The RWD motor pushed out 225 horsepower for a 303-mile range.

The AWD motor has 330 horsepower but only a 256-mile range.

The Ioniq 5 SE starts at $44,875 for the RWD version, while the AWD version begins at $48,375.

Next, we have the Ioniq 5 SLE and the Ioniq 5 limited. The SLE comes with full LED headlights, highway driving assist and leatherette seats.

The RWD version costs $47,125, while the AWD version starts at $50,625.

The vehicles get a Bose sound system, heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, and 20-inch wheels for the Limited trim.

The limited RWD will cost $51,825, and the AWD option is $55,725.

Model Estimated Range (Miles) M.S.R.P ($USD)
Standard Range 220 $40,925
SE RWD 303 $44,875
SE AWD 256 $48,375
SLE RWD 303 $47,125
SLE AWD 256 $50,625
Limited RWD 303 $51,825

By the looks of it, Canada has different trims and different options. The Essential and Preferred both have the same range as the Standard Range.

At the same time, the Preferred Long Range gets the larger battery pack and engine of the SE RWD.

Finally, the Preferred AWD Long Range and Preferred AWD LR with Ultimate Package fit the SE AWD range specs.
