After unexpectedly redesigning the front trunk, or frunk, earlier this summer, Tesla has now added a new carpet mat to its online shop.
Officially known as the ‘Beaded Basin’ design, the dimensions of the frunk were altered slightly to allow for the new heat pump on the refreshed Model 3. While the change was fairly minor, it meant the existing cargo mats would no longer fit.
The new frunk carpet mat is priced the same as the previous design at $45 CAD ($35 USD). The mat is in stock and available to order now.
Unfortunately there is still no all-weather option available. We’ll keep our eyes on the store and let you know as soon as it is in stock.
