Tesla will soon begin rolling out FSD Supervised in Slovenia following approval. This brings the number of markets in Europe where FSD is active to six.
Tesla is winning the battle to deploy FSD in Europe one country at a time. The latest auto market to approve ADAS for use on its roads is Slovenia, a Central European nation. According to the company’s post on X, the rollout will start soon.
In total, FSD has received the regulatory greenlight in six European countries. Tesla got the go-ahead in Belgium in June, after completing the mandatory 5,000 km of road testing that same month. Denmark gave its own authorisation in the same month.
Netherlands cleared the automaker in April, becoming the first to do so on European soil. The ADAS was positively accepted, quickly racking up 10 million kilometres of driving. Tesla secured approval in Lithuania about a month later, relying on validation data gathered in the Netherlands. Estonia joined the ranks in the same month of May, again taking cues from the Netherlands.
Tesla’s prospects for Europe-wide approval are becoming stronger with each passing day. France has not approved yet, but has started road-testing FSD with two cars after consulting with CEO Elon Musk. There is no official word yet on which way the French authorities will swing during the upcoming EU vote on approving FSD on the continent. However, it can be safely assumed that Tesla has already secured six votes.
