First Tesla Supercharger in Hawaii opens on the island of Oahu

Tesla owners in Hawaii finally have their first Supercharger. A new V3 Supercharger is now open in Pearlridge Center in Aiea, about 10 miles from downtown Honolulu on the island of Oahu.

Permits for this location were discovered earlier this year, which indicated the station would have 12 stalls and be located on the second floor of the parking garage.

While the location didn’t change (under the old Sears store), the number of stalls were reduced to 8 in the final installation.

One of the first owners to try out the new station was @weedrivetesla, who shared photos of their Model S Plaid plugged in and receiving a charge.

Hawaii’s second Supercharger will be located somewhere in Kahului on the island of Maui, and is scheduled to open in 2022.
