The Vegas Loop is Live on the North Strip with Sahara Station Opening

The Boring Company completed yet another milestone with the Vegas Loop officially opening on the North Strip this week.

The new Vegas Loop Station at Sahara Las Vegas will provide a direct link from the North Strip to the Las Vegas Convention Centre, operating daily from 0700-2100. Sahara has also confirmed that hours will expand as needed and will flex during major convention sequences and arena events around town.

The opening of the new station makes Sahara Las Vegas the second Vegas property to offer both Vegas Loop and Monorail access to its guests, joining Westgate.

In a statement, Sahara Las Vegas confirmed the opening of the new surface-level station that is located on Sahara’s Paradise Road entrance on the east side of the property.

The Boring Company is not stopping at Sahara for North Strip destinations, but further tunnelling is under administrative review by the City of Las Vegas. There is no timeline for how long the review will take or when the next stage will begin construction.

Sahara Las Vegas is one of the marquee names on the North Strip, first opening in 1952, and is home to the Sahara Theatre, which hosts rotating entertainment, and Magic Mike Live.
