Tesla has once again raised the price of its home charging equipment in Canada, continuing a string of increases this year that have made the Wall Connector significantly more expensive.
According to an update to the Tesla Shop listing this week, the standard Wall Connector is now listed for $815. That’s another $55 increase from the $760 price we reported previously.
While the July price increases were limited to the standard Wall Connector, Tesla has this time raised the price of the Universal Wall Connector as well. It is now listed at $945, up from $800 in July and $875 last month, widening the gap between the two models to $130.
Unlike the standard model, the Universal Wall Connector includes an integrated J1772 adapter, allowing it to charge both NACS-equipped vehicles and EVs using the J1772 connector.

The latest adjustment continues a run of price increases for the standard Wall Connector. Earlier this summer, the charger could be purchased for $630, before Tesla raised it to $645, then $675 and $760. At $815, it is now $185 more expensive than it was in early June, an increase of more than 29% in just over three months.
But that is only the past three months. The Wall Connector has previously sold for as little as $465 in Canada. Compared with that price, Canadians are now paying $350 more, or roughly 75% more.
The increases weren’t limited to Canada. In the U.S., the standard Wall Connector is now $585 (was $535) and the Universal Wall Connector is priced at $660 (was $600).
Tesla has not provided an explanation for the latest increases, but despite the higher prices, the Wall Connector is still one of the most reliable home chargers you can buy.
