Tesla is hosting a grand opening party for its massive new Vancouver facility, nearly three years after first announcing plans for its largest Sales, Service and Delivery Center in North America.

According to emails sent to owners in the Vancouver area on Friday, Tesla will host a grand opening event at its new location at 850 Raymur Avenue location on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The event will give owners an opportunity to tour the new 120,000 square-foot facility while checking out some of Tesla’s latest vehicles and technology.

Tesla Semi Coming to Vancouver

One of the biggest attractions will be the Tesla Semi. According to Tesla’s invitation, the electric Class 8 truck will be part of the vehicle lineup on display – its first appearance on Canada’s west coast after debuting in Ontario earlier this year.

Attendees will also be able to experience Full Self-Driving (FSD) demonstrations with their families. Tesla says the event will feature live music, giveaways and refreshments, while Tesla Advisors will be available to answer questions.

Space is limited and attendees are required to RSVP, so if you didn’t get an email invitation, you are likely unable to attend.

Tesla’s Largest Sales, Service and Delivery Center in North America

The new facility at 950 Raymur Avenue in Vancouver’s Strathcona neighbourhood was first announced in December 2023. Tesla partnered with Vancouver-based developer Beedie to construct the purpose-built location, which was originally expected to be completed in early 2026.

The site consolidates several major parts of Tesla’s Vancouver operations under one roof, including sales, vehicle deliveries, preparation and service. At 120,000 square feet, Tesla says Raymur is now its largest Sales, Service and Delivery location anywhere in North America.

West 4th Location Closing

The opening also marks the end of another long-running Tesla location in Vancouver. With Raymur now operational, Tesla’s West 4th Avenue location in Kitsilano is shutting down, with those operations being merged into the new facility.
