Tesla Supercharger in Montreal under construction

Tesla is adding another Supercharger in Montreal, with construction now underway on a 12-stall Supercharger at Carrefour Carnaval in the Saint-Léonard neighbourhood.

According to Supercharger tracker Marco, the station is being built at Carrefour Carnaval, directly off the Autoroute 40 eastbound service road, near the Boulevard Langelier exit. The shopping centre is located at 6675 Rue Jean-Talon East.

The project has been on the radar for some time. In October 2024 the location appeared on Tesla’s Find Us map with an “In Development” label.

As often happens with Tesla’s efforts to be transparent with their Supercharger planning, the map listing later disappeared as negotiations for the site stalled, but a subsequent update in August saw the pin return.

The Montreal project follows several additions to Tesla’s Quebec charging network. In March, Tesla opened stations in Laval and Quebec City, adding a combined 28 stalls. The Laval location brought 16 V4 stalls to Centropolis, while Quebec City’s Carrefour Neufchâtel received 12.

Tesla also opened a 16-stall Supercharger in Drummondville in August.

More recently, the company opened a 24-stall station in Mont-Tremblant on September 29. Tesla Charging marked that opening as the home of its 3,000th Canadian Supercharger stall.
