Tesla Supercharger in Langley under construction [British Columbia]

Another Supercharger is coming to the Lower Mainland of British Columbia as a new station is currently under construction just outside of Vancouver in Langley.

The new Supercharger is located just a short drive off the Trans Canada Hwy (Hwy 1) in the parking of the Holiday Inn Express at 8750 204 Street. Construction began in late December according to posts on TMC. The underground utility works has been completed and the transformer and switchgear equipment have been installed, but the Supercharger pedestals have yet to show up.

As of the most recent photos from the site taken on January 16, 2023 it appears as though the Langley Supercharger could be as large as 16 stalls.

There are three other Supercharger stations in relatively close proximity to this one in Langley off Hwy 1. Two can be found about 12km to the west in Surrey, and another 25km to the east in Abbotsford.

According to Tesla’s Find Us map the Langley Supercharger is slated to open in Q3 2023, but it looks like this one will be opening ahead of schedule.

This is the third Supercharger currently under construction in the Lower Mainland. Another is waiting to be turned on in Delta at the corner of Ladner Trunk Rd and 52a Street, in between the Chevron gas station and the BC Liquor Store. That site will feature 12 V3 stalls.

The Maple Ridge Supercharger is also waiting to be turned on after starting construction back in September.
