The Tesla Model 3 has once again proven its reliability and confirmed its status as a car that pleases owners. According to a study, Model 3 is the car with the fewest complaints in China, challenging players in the world’s largest auto market.
When we buy a car, we expect it to perform well and live up to what we hear and see in its advertising. When expectations are met or exceeded, consumers are highly satisfied. However, it also happens that sometimes after a purchase, owners realize that not all things are working as well as expected. In some cases, owners are even faced with defects that take a long time to correct.
Various surveys and publications constantly check the level of satisfaction of owners with their vehicles. One type of assessment is to assess the number of complaints received from owners. We’ve already seen that satisfaction levels with Model 3 are stellar, and now they’re backed up again by a new survey in China.
According to data for the first quarter of 2024 in China, Tesla Model 3 is recognized as the car with the fewest complaints among all cars sold in the world’s largest automobile market. The information was shared by Tesla Vice President in China, Tao Lin. Model 3’s complaint rate was 5.3. This means that out of 10,000 units sold, only 5.3 units received complaints from owners. This figure once again emphasizes the high quality of cars that Tesla produces at Giga Shanghai. Model 3 shared first place with the Hongqi E-QM5 electric car, which also has a rating of 5.3.
In third place is Panda with 6.3 complaints per 10,000 units sold. In fourth and fifth places are Aion S and Changan Lumin with 6.4 and 6.5 complaints, respectively. Notably, Volkswagen ID 3 is on the bottom half of the list, with 43 complaints for every 10,000 vehicles sold.
With Model 3, Tesla has once again succeeded in creating quality vehicles that meet, if not exceed, the high expectations of their owners. Tesla China has done an amazing job of creating them to delight customers. Tesla cars are role models for all automakers, setting a new bar for quality and enjoyment.
